WebMay 25, 2014 · Pencil lead is indeed graphite. Works great on nuts, especially bone or plastic (GraphTech nuts already have it built-in.) ... I have used the graphite lube in a tube. It's messy, being a powder instead of a paste. But it works. May 20, 2014 #6 ...
