Basically Enclosure #A and enclosure #B can be built and tuned to sound the same. WebThe consensus is that ported subs are better for home theater vs. music. Mostly a myth/misconception. Ported you get more output/performance for less money. In order to say match the PB-2000's performance you'd need to get a SB-4000 and even then it's still not a perfect 1:1 match in output/performance.
